Color Blocking

I know color blocking has been a trend for a while now but I'm still really in love with this look. I'm not sure how work appropriate this look would be, but for a weekend or night with friends, I think it's perfect. Here are some of my favorite looks:

{This last one might be a little much for me, but pretty to look at nonetheless}

I like the trend, but apply it with some caution. I have a pair of bottle-green jeans which I wear with neutrals and a bright coral top to wear with washed-out jeans. I don't think I'd go for two or even three strong colours at once. Agree on the last picture: looks fantastic, but too much for me personally :-) xo

Loving this trend! I usually lean towards mixing shades of pink red and orange!

Love color blocking and even though it's been around for a while loving seeing new approaches with it. Adore the first picks with the neutral sweater and the accessory punches of color!

I'm so one of those people who needs to get real brave to do this sort of thing.
I'm getting there! Using brighter color lipsticks? :)

I actually color block for work all the time! Today I'm wearing bright blue skinnies with a green silk top (both from J. Crew).

I love the top look. I think the subdued and neutral tone of the top makes this look VERY wearable. The blue pants are my choice! Fab post!

I LOVE this trend. Definitely one of my favorites, and also something that literally anyone can take part in, which isn't always true.

Super cute! I'm not brave enough to go all out with color blocking but I think even wearing it subtly is a great trend :)

I've always been afraid to try color blocking but the second photo is a great example of how to do it. The top and skirt are a great combination. Thanks for the inspiration!
