By the time Friday rolls around, I've already planned my weekend ten different ways. And while I always go into the few days off with the best of intentions, more times than not I end up only doing about 1/4 of the things I actually wanted to. One of my grandiose visions of a weekend well-spent is that of a fabulous garden party filled with good food, great company, and possibly a few twinkling lights to really set the mood. Alas, this has yet to happen, but after seeing this gorgeous setting (photographed by
Caroline Tran for one of her workshops), I think it's definitely time to kick it into high-gear and make my garden party dream a reality.

What a beautiful party. So creative. I am having a baby shower on Saturday. We are using a pink dresser to set the gifts on. Of course she will be having a girl.
